Publications & Documents

Very often the staff members of GUP in central office receive phone calls or give answers to such queries of some individuals or representatives from NGOs / organisation with the intention for purchasing some publications of GUP according to their need. The subject-specific posters and gender training kits published by GUP are very much in demand in the NGO field. GUP realized that the people , especially who are involved in community development activities, must have easy access to the community development activities, must have easy access to the socio-political-cultural and economic information which are very much needed for their understanding and assessment of current situation and the pace of development in our country. The information which are related to development of people and the society should be disseminated in such a way that could be easily understandable by the common masses. That is why GUP has taken up the responsibility of dissemination of information on related subjects, issues through publication of books, newsletter, research papers, posters etc. both in regional languages and in English which help the willing readers to upgrade their knowledge and skills. The prime objective behind publishing and circulating these information materials is to educate people, advocacy for mass action as well as to organize people to protest against socio-economic-cultural injustices inflicted on them.
